Based on BGI Editing SysTems (BEST), which were found and optimized by BGI, and Integrase-Deficient Lentivirus (IDLV), our IDLV-BEST (iBEST) gene-editing platform aims to provide alternative approaches to treat genetic diseases, such as β-thalassemia, with higher editing efficiency and lower off-target risk.
